Wow, it's been a month since I have posted here.  I know, I'm a bad blogger.  I really need to get with it.  On to some serious stuff.  LOL

It's A Girls World

Here is a layout I did of my daughter's hands.  We had went shopping and found all of these great colors of nail polish.  Of course she had to get the blue to match her softball team colors......LOL  She loves to be pampered and have her nails done by mommy.

Happy Friday!

I'm so glad this week is over, but there is no sunshine today.  Bummer.  I think we are suppose to have rain all weekend.  Not good.  Johnathan has his first soccer game tomorrow but it looks like it may get rained out.....let's hope not.

Week 9, 10 and 11

Woo, two posts in one day!  I'm trying to get some things caught up this weekend.  It's been busy with the kids starting softball and soccer practice.  Today it's raining and I think (kinda hope) that softball practice will be cancelled today.  I don't want to sit in the cold, wet rain.  Who does?  But they have practiced in the rain before.  Not fun I tell ya!

So I'm hoping to get caught up on my weekly layouts.  Here are weeks 9, 10 and 11.

I've had weeks 6, 7 and 8 finished but haven't posted them yet.  Yes, I need to get busy on this blog.

Week 3, 4 and 5

Finally, here are weeks three, four and five.  I have started week six and need to get it finished up.  I have some CT stuff to do as well.

But first, need to run to the grocery store.  Haven't really gotten much accomplished this weekend.

Doctor Visits

It's been crazy at our house and I feel like I haven't had much time to scrap.  Wait, I did get my week, 3, 4 and 5 for the P365 finished.  Did I upload them here?  No.  Yep, I'm a slacker.

For the past three Monday's we have been to the doctor's office.  The first Monday my oldest had a double ear infection.  No fun.  Funny thing is he was in no pain, none.  The reason I took him was because he had a cough and it kept getting worse.  Turns out that a cough can be caused by the ear infection.  I'll be darn, who knew?  I mean, three kids and plenty of ear infections.....and never heard of that.

The second Monday a not so fun one either.  First, the Friday before my youngest was getting out of the shower and as I was drying him off I saw something red by his ear, just a little bigger than a pencil eraser and it had little red bumps on it.  Plus he said it itched.  I swear it looked just like posion ivy, but it's winter and can't obviously be that.  I put some cortizone on it and sent him to school.  After school his grandparents picked him up from school and he spent the weekend with them.  I told them about the spot and to put cortizone on it.  By the time he came home, the red spot had grown quite a bit.  I sent him to school and went on to work.  I had planned on calling the pediatrician's office at 9:00 when they opened.  Didn't have to wait that long to find out what it was.  The school nurse called me (school had just started) and informed me that Johnathan had ringworm.  What?  Where in the heck does someone get that?  I asked her that as well to which she replied "oh several kids and a teacher have it here at school".  Just great!  Got him in for an appointment and got some meds for it.  Poor kid.  Did I say yuck yet?  If not, yuck!

Now to this Monday.  It all started late Sunday afternoon.  The boys were out playing in the snow and I'm taking lots of pictures of them when all of a sudden there is a scream so loud that it pierced your ears!  My youngest was screaming bloody murder and crying.  I asked Jimmy what happened and of course he didn't know.  I asked Johnathan what happened and he told me that Jimmy punched him in the eye.  It took me about an hour to get him calmed down.  He fell asleep so I went about doing things.  Later on he woke up screaming, holding his eye and he wouldn't open it.  At first I thought he didn't hurt it that bad and may be faking it.......no he wasn't.  He was awake through most of the night.  So of course yesterday morning I call the doctor first thing and got an appointment.  Turns out, Johnathan has a scratched cornea.  Yeah, big brother is in BIG trouble.  He has to have drops in his eyes three times a day.  If we don't see improvement by Thursday, we have to call the doctor so that he can get us in to a specialist.

Week 2

I really need to get better at blogging.  That's my goal this year.  Ha ha.

I finally finished week two layout.  This is a fun project and I'm really enjoying it.  I don't think the kids are enjoying it though, they are tired of me taking pictures every single day.  LOL  Well, too bad. :)  Yesterday my youngest and I ran to Toys R Us trying to find a game......so I took my camera and said to him "wait I need my picture for the day" before we entered the store.  He whined and said "it's freezing out here".  Yeah, it was in the teens, but I needed my picture!

Hopefully I'll be back this week with week three.  Plus, I really need to start blogging for the CTs I'm on.  I don't have many followers..........but one day.  Ha ha.

Project 365

One thing I'm going to do is get busy on this blog.  Try to post more than once a week.  We'll see how that goes.

A couple of years ago I took a break from scrapping to focus on my family.  Mainly to deal with my youngest of his grieving for the loss of his father.  It was hard on both of us.  It was rough, actually it was hell.  He had a very hard time in school and was getting into a lot of trouble.  Thank goodness that part is over and we can get back to normal.

Here we are three years later and doing better.  When I came back, the scrapping community was about the same.  I missed it so much.  There was a new thing called Project 365 and I had no idea what the heck it was.  It's about your daily life for the year.  So, I decided to try it this year.  We'll see if I can do a picture every day.  My youngest, Johnathan is tired of me taking pictures already.  I tried to take one of Sierra and she wouldn't cooperate.  Kids.

Here is my week one layout.  I'm pleased with it.  Now, lets hope I can keep this up the rest of the year.  I'm getting ready to start on my second week and will post when I'm finished.

The kids and I rang in the new year together at home.  It was a fun, yet relaxing night at home.  Looking forward to 2011 and all that it brings.
